"Life brought me the message (the Seminar) when I was poised to hear it and act on it. Much of what I've set in motion since then was brewing well before the Underearning Seminar, but the combination of the time to give it considerable thought, and the experiences shared by the other women in the group, gave me the kick in the rear that I needed to quit stewing and ACT!
One change that's made a big difference in my daily life with money is writing down everything I spend. I've done this in the past, with the same result, but I'd forgotten how powerful it is to track every penny. I've become a very conscious and conscientious spender! I find it's much easier to turn away from spending if I know I have to write it down and total it up at the end of the month. I ask myself, "Can I manage without it?" and "Do I really love it?" If I can't answer yes to either of those questions, the wallet stays in my purse.
So I thank you, Barbara, for being the messenger who gave me the push I needed to institute substantial, meaningful change in my life."
"Thank you so much for your tremendous energy and passion for empowering women! You made Sand Hill Advisors launching event of the Women's Wealth Network a smashing success. Over a month since the event, we are still receiving comments about how powerful your presentation was. Your story and your encouragement inspired the people in the room to take their financial lives to the next level. As a result, we have received a terrific response to our financial education seminar series. I look forward to working with you again in the future!
~ Emilie Goldman, Chief Wealth Management Officer, Sand Hill Advisors, Inc.
"What can I say except that you were amazing!!! I can't begin to tell you the wonderful feedback I received on your comments in general, and your approach to investing and personal empowerment. Every woman at my table became personally involved in your discussion, and I believe every woman walked out of our luncheon with a mission to get financially empowered as quickly as possible."
~ Mindy S. Ross, Senior Vice President, Salomon Smith Barney
"Thanks for the Overcoming Underearning® Seminar. I know the OU issue is a major issue for me and for many other women as well. It was great spending a day verbalizing the issues and learning skills that challenge me to rise above such limitations."
