Affirmations

Affirmations are statements you make about yourself to cement positive ideas into your mind. They can be read silently or aloud, and for maximum impact, speak them forcefully while walking or otherwise moving briskly. Repetition is key to implementing them in your life, so refer back to them throughout each day to really implant new ideas into your thinking. It doesn't matter if the statement is not yet true about you—say it as if it already is, and before long your belief in your ability to make it true will kick in.

Substitute any words that don't feel right for you with your own. As you say these words, feel these declarations go out into the world and come fully alive. If you create some for yourself, be sure to avoid wishy-washy language like "trying" or "I'd like to" or "someday." The whole point is to affirm your vision for your life as you want it to be right now—not in a month or two. The recipe is simple: conceive of what you want, believe it's already real, and be open to receive it when it shows up.

I reach my full potential in my life's work—and I am well-paid for it.

I am secure in the knowledge that I'm on the path to financial responsibility.

I deserve to make more money, and I will push past any resistance I encounter.

I am economically powerful and I rejoice in that fact!

I believe in myself, and I know I can do anything I set my mind to. Fear is just False Evidence Appearing Real.

I live in an infinitely prosperous Universe of possibilities.

I am a woman of worth—I value both my self-worth and my net worth.

I am honest with myself about my finances, and I choose to act wisely.

My business is lucrative; I am attracting the perfect people to ensure my success.

I have taken control of my finances.

"Prince Charming" need not be a man, or even a person. Our "prince" could be an ideal job, an insurance settlement, the lottery jackpot, or just an amorphous "something"—anything that we fantasize will save us financially. We must get to the point where we can say with total conviction, I can do it myself.
